Pharmacy Technician Intern
Job Description
A pharmacy technician intern is being sought by a well established Medical concern to help process prescriptions, dispense medications to patients as well as provide instruction and information regarding correct use of medicines supplied. The successful incumbent will be studying towards a qualification in Pharmacy and seeking a placement opportunity.
1. Processing of prescriptions, dispensing of medications to patients according to treatment guidelines and standard operating procedures
2. Provides instruction and information regarding correct use of medicines supplied
3. Data collection for reporting and ordering purposes monthly.
4. Produces data analysis, patient-condition and sales reports timeously inclusive of recommendations for improvement
5. Stock management and control, including regular stock take and maintenance of inventory records
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Studying towards a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy 'or recent graduate'
2. Interpreting prescriptions
