Factory Supervisor
Job Description
An organisation that aims to build and manufacture high standard kitchens is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to supervise their Factory Staff. Candidates with open and enquiring minds are invited to apply.
1. Supervise effective working of production personnel and prepare effective production schedules and ensure compliance to all company policies.
2. Ensures total compliance in relation to adherence of quality standards across production cells.Cement a culture of continuous improvement across production cells.
3. Ensures that all machines are oiled at all times and are cleaned daily after usage.
4. Develops and maintain effective relations with all company employees at various levels of organization.
5. Ensures compliance to workplace policies according to safety objectives.
6. Prepare vacation schedule for all employees and ensure no effect to production.
7. Takes ownership of the production load schedules and ensure achievement of targets.
8. Direct, supervise, appraise, develop and report on work and conduct of all factory employees and take appropriate measures to ensure efficiency and discipline among all factory employees.
9. Ensures the calibration of all production equipment.
10. Establishing team performance targets/standards, communicating and translating vision into actionable results.
Qualifications & Requirements
Carpentry or equivalent qualification
MS Office
Compensation & Remuneration
Supervisor level remuneration
Other Information
Extensive knowledge of carpentry is require and the individuals must be self motivated.
